About Us

Who are we?

Step 1: The Brief

We will meet with you and get to know what you are like as a company and as people. How do you work? what are your requirements? what is working well at the moment, and what could be improved? We will look at various design styles to see what sort of direction you are looking for, and will also look at your competitors and see how we can improve on what they offer. Based on this discussion we will then draw up a brief for the project, and a quotation based on the brief.

Step 2: Design

Once the brief is approved, we will then go away and brainstorm ideas that find the best possible solutions to that brief. We will then submit a few different approaches for you to consider. At a second meeting we will work out what elements you like and what you don't like, and based on this find a synthesis that you are completely happy with. This process typically takes 1-2 weeks.

Step 3: Development

Once the design is approved, we will then go away and take the job from the drawing board to the web. This involves making HTML or Flash web pages, creating the database, and writing the code that ties the two together. We will keep you informed on the progress of the development. The length of this process varies hugely with the size of the job and the complexity of the work involved, but typically takes between 3 and 6 weeks for an average site.

Step 4: Testing

Once we are happy that the site is working how we envisaged it, we will invite you to test it for yourself on our test servers. This will start with a personal tutorial, where we show you the site and how it all works, and give you a lesson on how to use your new bespoke content management system. We will also give you a user guide to take away in case you forget anything. You can then test the site at your leisure to ensure it works how you want it. We will then fix any problems you have or make any changes you require. The length of this process can vary but generally takes between 2-4 weeks.

Step 5: Launch & Maintenance

Once you are completely happy with the site, it can go live, available to a global audience. But our involvement does not end here. Our after-sales maintenance and technical support mean that if you have any problems, or need any changes, we are on hand to keep the site running the way you want it.
